My friend Lily sent me a photo of someones splatter nails, so I decided to try it out today! I painted my nails with two coats of white and waited until they dried. I read that you can use a pen to blow the nail polish paint through to create this look, but it wasn't really working for me so I used a straw instead. I started with orange then did the blue and lastly, the black. You just have to load the color at the end of the straw then blow it onto your nails. It was a very messy process and would recommend taping your fingers around your nails before starting. Now, go splatter!
Nature, dinosaurs, and nails among other things are always on my mind, so I need to let them out! And let all of you experience the wonders

NYE Nails!
I painted my nails black, and on the second coat, I placed rhinestones along the cuticles while they were still wet. My mom bought me these gems at a local beauty supply shop for Christmas. When everything is dry, paint a top coat over your nails.
Christmas Nails
Paint your nails white. Wait for the to dry. Apply glitter X-mas colors on the tips. I use a second coat to make the very tip a little thicker so it looks like it is cascading.

MOD
This is my first attempt at this style. I don't have any skinny brushed nail polished right now so I had to use the regular ones. I can't wait to try it again when I have the right brush!
Instructions: My toes were already painted black so I first made the two big yellow v forms in the middle, then the smaller ones on the sides. I then filled in the white. I did a double coat of the yellow and white and then fixed mistakes by going back in with the black. When I get the smaller brushes, I will try painting everything on to my bare nail, starting with the black X in the middle and expanding with the yellow and white. Stay tuned! I will most likely have this done on my friend's nails by Saturday :)
Cascading Glitter
Just paint your nails any color and when they are dry use a glitter nail polish on the tips. You can double coat the very tip for the effect I have on the purple nails. I only did one coat of glitter on the green. I used Deborah Lippmann's "Today was a Fairytale". Ode to taytay swift ;) Note on Deborah Lippmann polish- it is expensive but pretty and the glitter is so easy to get off. Definitely worth your time and your hand doesn't cramp up when you try to take it off like normal glitter.
